Panola Mountain State Park
Panola Mountain is a granite outcrop, similar to Stone Mountain and Arabia Mountain.
There is a 20-mile PATH trail connecting Panola Mountain to Arabia Mountain and other local destinations. The PATH trail has paved and boardwalk sections, and is suitable for cycling as well as walking.
Hikes to the top of the mountain are only available when a ranger is leading them, to protect the unique and sensitive ecosystem of the mountain. These hikes are offered often. There are also other nature trails available that do not require a ranger guide.
